Rossland Museum and Goldmine Tour opening in May for a new season!
Would you like to experience something very special during your Rossland vacations? Then come and visit the Rossland Museum with its amazing museum and an unforgettable underground walking tour into the once famous Le Roi gold mine.
Mine Tours:
During May and June, the tours run at 9:30; 11:00;12:30; 2:00; & 3:30
During July & August, the tours run every 30 minutes from 9:30 to 3:30.
During September, please phone to book a tour time.
The mine tour takes approximately 45 minutes. It is a walking tour and is quite cold underground (45F / 7C), so we recommend that visitors bring a jacket and wear good walking shoes.

Experience the unforgettable thrill of gliding through pristine wilderness trails pulled by your team of ready and extremely eager sled dogs. Powder Paws Dogsledding Tours lets you be a part of the quiet beauty of nature.
The Red Resort Mine Tour with Powder Paws
The tour begins on the Cascade Highway, where you will meet your team of 8 ready and extremely eager Alaskan huskies. Roxanne and David Mason will give you an introduction to dog sledding, and you will help harness your own team before you take up.
You will then travel along an old mining road on Red Mountain to the abandoned Molybdenum gold mine, situated near the top of the T-bar at Red Resort. There you will take in the beautiful views, enjoy a hot beverage, and prepare for our return taking a new route via the Motherlode chair lift at Red Mountain Resort.
It is possible to run 2 sleds together. The experienced Powderhound team have sleds available with a load limit of 375 pounds each.
Two adult size people and one or two small children.

Children under 10: - $70 pp

9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm

Resort also offers special programs for bikers during the summer months. If you
love to bike, Rossland trails such as the challenging
7 Summits Trail are the perfect way to experience the breathtaking
surroundings!
Black Jack X-Country Ski Club
Every winter in Rossland, over 35km of beautiful, expertly groomed trails for both
skating and classic techniques are waiting for ski enthusiasts and novices alike.
Featuring a biathlon range and trails ranging from easy and rolling to steep and
winding. The Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club is located 3 km north of Rossland
and is adjacent to Red Mountain ski resort. With a starting altitude of more than
1100 meters, Black Jack benefits from an extraordinarily long season and abundant
snowfall. Make a full day of it and bring a picnic to one of the cozy warming cabins.
If you get a late start, no worries, Black Jack has a terrific 2.5 km lighted loop.
Golfing Are
you interested in a great golf tour? The golf courses around Rossland are a golfer’s
paradise! While staying at the Casa Alpina hotel, all types of players can enjoy
the spectacular scenery as well as exceptionally well maintained greens. The Redstone Golf Resort, formerly
the Rossland Course, is a new Les Furber design championship course situated in
