in the Kootenays and surrounded by the Monashee

was originally a booming mining town, and today
has become a wonderful year round destination spot
for visitors due to its historical museum, festivals,
gold mine tour and, most importantly, its world-class
recreational activities.

one hundred kilometres of challenging trails perfect
for both the adventurous athlete and enthusiastic

courses! The new 18-hole Red Stone championship
golf course is expected to be one of the top 10
resort courses in Canada.
During the winter season, Rossland has unmatched
alpine and cross-country skiing conditions in all
of British Columbia. Red Mountain is a world-renowned
Olympic ski Resort where world skiing and Canadian
champions Nancy Greene and Kerrin Lee Gartner first
